What happens when you bring a plant into the theatre? Suddenly, it’s not just your own human experience that is central. How do you deal with that?
The world is not just for people. To prepare ourselves for a future in which natural forces oppose human actions and in which humans will have to adapt to them, we can already practice with an accessible entry-level model of nature that claims its place: a plant that wants to come along during your theatre visit.
Participants adopt a plant for an evening and receive a diary to make notes of the plant’s adventures.
Plant Based Company is an exercise in living together with other types of organisms, especially for the domesticated city dweller.
